MAYA 2008 - 3D Modeling and Animations | Tereza Flexman | Free PDF
Maya 2008 Character Modeling and Animation: Principles and Practices is an introductory-to-intermediate–level text designed for anyone who wants to learn 3D character modeling, rigging, and animation using Autodesk Maya software.
The book is intended to support both classroom use and the independent learner. The organizational approach is based on my classroom teaching experience over the past seven years. It was motivated by a lack of texts that effectively integrate the principles of animation with their technical implementation in Maya.
Each chapter starts with a section (or sections) that describes the relevant principles. These are largely software independent, although sometimes include illustrations or mini-tutorials demonstrating the concepts using Maya. The second part of each chapter is composed of one or more detailed tutorials.
